Couldn’t be happier with the security on site, most places have a bad rep for the security these days but honestly here was amazing, proper interesting bloke too. Made us all feel welcome, came in with about 6 of us boys and girls. Glad to finally see someone doing a great job on the door making everyone feel safe. I walked out with a drink in hand forgot what I was doing on a night out and he just calmly told me to take it back in, normally you’d get treated with disrespect from other security, but the geezer on the door was polite and professional. Hats off to him. Defo coming again because of him.

Me & my work colleagues/friends were here Friday night for a leaving party, before we even entered the premises we were greated and welcomed by the security/door man. Opened the door and wished us a great night, he was well dressed and very polite and a real credit to the pub and made us feel sp welcome straight away, upon our evening we all had many drinks between us all at a affordable rate & were all really pleased, had a wonderful night & would definitely recommend, we will most definitely be back.
Really enjoyed the reggae festival I attended here with my sister and friends. Drinks were great and food absolutely excellent. We loved the steel pan band and Mr Bojangles! Thank you for helping me celebrate my birthday in such a lovely atmosphere. The staff were great and couldn't do enough for you. Great time was had by all of us!
Was out on a night out last night with some of my uni friends, we were dancing on the dance floor and two very drunk old men kept coming over and harassing us. So I spoke to the bloke on security and he kept an eye on them and went to the bar and cut them off from drinking. When the men went outside he followed them outside and told them they weren’t allowed in again. We felt very safe and the security bloke did a very good job considering he was by himself!
Can't comment on the food as only went in for a drink raspberry gin and vodka and coke iirc came to around 18:50 town is certainly allot more expensive than I remember but wasn't the dearest round in town, nice little place decent music clean can't really ask for more
Went for food and drinks with friends and had a really enjoyable time. Good music and atmosphere, will be back.
